The three most involved powers were Germany, Japan, and Italy. They signed a pact known as the TriPartite Pact in September 1940. They dominated most of Europe, parts of Africa, and even Asia. In the beginning they controlled the war but by the end they got owned! The remaining high-ranking officials were called for a trial known as the Nuremburg Trials to pay for their consequences. Some were executed and others stayed in prison for life.
